The Deerfield Township Board is having a gift / toy drive for Christmas.We would like to have this as an annual event for our resident that need an extra boost for those struggling in our community. this holiday season. I asked our board members if they would be willing to support this and it was an overwhelming yes. Please if you can beginning October 1st drop off an unwrapped gift for children ages infant to on up. If you or someone you know needs a little help this holiday season please stop by the Township Hall with information, name address and ages of the children so we can try to help . We have a great community and I asked that if you can to please donate no matter how large or small.

Rental Rooms
Our rental rooms are completed. The community room, North Room and the Seniors room have been totally updated along with the bathrooms. Stop by and take a look. Thank you Bradford contracting for doing an exceptional job.
Treasurer / Tax Distribution
Our Treasurer will be adding pie charts to the web site to show where all the township funds / your tax dollars are being used. We hope to have this on the site soon.
Township Park
We have made improvements to the Township park. Walking path and basketball 1/2 court. We are applying for a grant for more upgrades. I will also be looking for donations from local businesses for putting in a couple baseball / softball fields. I will look also if there are any grants available.
